My Story

Hello!
I’m a 31-year-old product designer based out of Bangalore, India with over 7 years of professional experience designing software for early & mid-stage high-growth startups.

I love making and enjoying well-designed things. I strive to make technology better and easier to use through good visual & product design. I have found that my passion lies in designing new software products from scratch or on iterations and ideating on how the product could evolve. Currently, looking for a full-time product design role in a ‘product first’ team solving problems within areas - B2B, blockchain, and consumer social.

Background

In my current role, I am leading design at Questbook where we are building tools to eliminate all barriers between the web3 work-workforce-capital. I lead product design & strategy for an on-chain dApp to run community-led grant programs designed to fund developers in web3 ecosystems. I have also explored concepts and designs for 0>1 products to disrupt digital identity space using Reclaim protocol - a protocol that offers an interoperable, verifiable, and private way to port personal data from any web server—even without APIs.
Previously, I worked at Airmeet where we enable enterprises to conduct virtual events in a post-pandemic world. I led the growth design team and shipped critical features to improve customer top-of-the-funnel activation, improved retention, and monetization - metered pricing, self-serve billing, subscription management, and landing page optimization, & product growth loops to improve premium conversions.

Before that, I worked at an early-stage startup HaikuJam where we designed a search engine for inspiration — Inspo. Before HaikuJam, I was enrolled in Y-Combinator Startup School 2019 program where I, along with my technical co-founder/hacker, designed, launched, and grew MegaX - a peer-to-peer Bitcoin trading application on Telegram. We graduated from Y-Combinator Startup School in 2019 with this product and learned a ton during this phase.

Starting off my career, I worked in the product and research division at Quess Corp - one of the largest employers in India. Had a chance to work on a variety of internal tools in the HRMS and office management software space. Was responsible for end-to-end product design work and learned hands-on how to do everything as a UX designer - from user research, ideation, and end-to-end prototyping. You can see some of my work here.

I was awarded the ‘Best Employee’ title for my work during the year 2017-2018.

“Ownership in anything you do, for the care you show for the products you design and overall for being a great asset for us here.”
